Bridge work to close Red Banks overpass
A bridge maintenance project on Red Banks Road at the I-22 overpass in DeSoto County will close the roadway for several weeks, beginning Monday, Jan. 4, 2021.
During the rehabilitation project, the existing bridge deck will be removed by hydrodemolition. A new riding surface will then be poured.
During the project, the I-22 ramps will be accessible.
Advance warning signs will be in place. Motorists are advised to find an alternate route.
