Batesville police welcome recruit Caleb Lantern

The Batesville Police Department said in a post that it has welcomed Caleb Lantern as its newest recruit and that he will attend the Mississippi Law Enforcement Training Academy in May.

The department said Lantern has a long family history of serving in law enforcement.

The department added that it expects Lantern to “do us proud” at the academy.
