Baptist DeSoto to Host Pharmacy Technician Hiring Event
SOUTHAVEN, Miss. — Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto will hold an in-person hiring event for pharmacy technicians on Friday, Sept. 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the DeSoto Rooms at the hospital, located at 7601 Southcrest Parkway.
The hospital is seeking to fill Pharmacy Technician I and II positions and is offering a $3,000 sign-on bonus for qualifying candidates. Interested applicants can register in advance at Eventbrite.
Baptist DeSoto is a 339-bed facility that provides diagnostic, surgical, and rehabilitation services, along with open-heart surgery and a range of cardiovascular care. In recent years, the hospital has expanded its facilities, including a $19 million emergency department renovation in 2018 and an $87,000-square-foot, $55 million physician office building that opened in 2022.
The hospital has earned multiple honors in 2025, including recognition from U.S. News & World Report as a high-performing hospital in six specialties, as well as national distinctions from the American Heart Association and the American College of Cardiology for excellence in cardiac and stroke care.
