Aug. 25, 2025 – Law enforcement agencies across the U.S. and Canada are getting a firsthand look at the newest public safety tools through the Axon Road Show, a traveling technology showcase featuring innovations designed to improve officer and community safety. The Road Show made a stop Monday morning at the Southaven Police Department’s West Precinct.
Ross Adeli, with the Axon Road Show, said the initiative brings two mobile units directly to police departments, allowing officers to test new products.
“We tour the country with two trucks visiting police departments all throughout the country, as well as Canada,” Adeli said. “We bring all the latest and greatest technology to the agencies so they can get their hands on it and see how it works, how it makes them safer, and makes their job a little bit easier.”
Cutting-Edge Equipment
Among the highlights is the Taser 10, Axon’s newest less-lethal device. The updated design allows officers to engage from a greater distance, increasing safety for both officers and suspects.
Another major advancement is the Body Camera 4, which now features built-in translation technology. Officers can press a button to translate conversations in real time, eliminating the need to wait for an interpreter. “I can speak English to my camera, and it will relay back in their language,” Adeli explained. “Then, when they respond, I can hear the translation in English.”
High-Demand Tools
Adeli said body cameras and tasers remain the most requested products by law enforcement. “Body cameras capture and preserve truth and justice,” he said. “Tasers provide a less-lethal platform that’s reliable, keeps officers safe, and keeps the community safe as well.”
Expanding Technology Offerings
In addition to tasers and body cameras, Axon also offers:
- In-car cameras with license plate recognition,
- Drones for tactical and outdoor use,
- Consumer-level tasers and cameras, and
- Drone detection systems that track aerial activity and pinpoint pilot locations.
The traveling showcase continues to visit police departments nationwide, giving officers direct access to innovations that are reshaping modern policing.
