Arrest for threat made to Mid-South Fair

A Memphis man is in jail and awaiting extradition to Mississippi on charges of making threats to the Mid-South Fair.

Southaven Police officials say they were notified late Friday afternoon about a Facebook post that contained threatening language directed at the fair.

Detectives were assigned to the case to identify and locate the source of the Facebook post and soon discovered the person making the threats lived in Memphis.

With help from the Memphis Police Department, Darrius Marcellius Muldrow, age 44 of Memphis, was located and arrested under Mississippi’s terroristic threats law.

The full extent of the threat was not provided in the news release sent by the police department.

Muldrow is in the Shelby County Jail and is awaiting extradition back to Mississippi on the charges.
