Officer Jared Lancaster was named the Olive Branch Police Department’s Officer of the Month for February 2026 for his work in the Training Division, the department said.

The Southaven Chamber of Commerce said it is partnering with the Southaven Police Department, the DeSoto County Economic Development Council and other area chambers to offer a free workshop. Organizers say registration is required.

The City of Olive Branch said in a government post that the Spring Craft Fair opens at 9 a.m. tomorrow at the Olive Branch Senior Center, 8800 College Street, and will feature indoor and outdoor vendors.

Mayor Ken Adams said he presented requests to Mississippi’s congressional delegation for federal funding to widen Mississippi Highway 305 and the two-lane Craft Road bridge over U.S. 78 and I-22.

The City of Olive Branch says Highway 302 is open to both directions after a motor vehicle crash that had reduced westbound traffic to one lane. Mayor Ken Adams thanked motorists for their patience and urged caution.

Coffee Central is celebrating its seventh year and inviting the public to a celebration and commemorative photo opportunity, owner Tina Tatum said. The café describes itself as a community gathering place and offers a full catering menu.

Horn Lake Police Department said Officers Hunter and Tyler graduated from the Mississippi Delta Law Enforcement Training Academy’s Basic Class B-82, both earning expert marksman distinctions.
