The Hernando Main Street Chamber of Commerce shared photos from the Hernando Farmers Market and encouraged residents to stroll around the Square, the chamber said.

The Hernando Main Street Chamber of Commerce said a fireworks celebration is planned for 9 p.m. at the Hernando Civic Center Ballfield and the Farmers Market will continue today.

The Hernando Main Street Chamber of Commerce wished residents a safe, joyful Independence Day and encouraged support for local businesses, the chamber said.

Ken Adams presented custom plaques to World War II veterans K.T. Robbins and Olin Pickens during the Light the Way Freedom Fest, the City of Olive Branch said.

The City of Olive Branch said the festival concluded and thanked sponsors and attendees for a free, family-friendly evening capped by music and fireworks.

The Hernando Main Street Chamber of Commerce thanked the Optimist Club of Hernando and Hernando Baptist Church for helping with a bicycle parade during Fourth of July weekend, the chamber said in a social media post.

Ken Adams, Olive Branch mayor, said all parking inside City Park is at capacity for the Light the Way Freedom Fest and urged residents to follow the Olive Branch Police Department’s directions. He added the city’s fireworks are visible throughout Olive Branch.

Organizers said participating local shops will hold a three-day sale July 9-11 and encouraged shoppers to attend.

DFT will offer a weeklong camp based on ‘Magic Tree House: Dinosaurs Before Dark’ from July 13-17, organizers said. Sessions run 1 to 4 p.m., and registration is available online.

Olive Branch Mayor Ken Adams said gates for the Light the Way Freedom Fest open at 3 p.m., with city fireworks to follow the concert.
