Visit DeSoto County announced that DeSoto County Dining Week will run April 20-26 and encouraged residents to eat at local restaurants. A preview post listed several participating eateries and provided a link to the full list.

Mayor Ken Adams and the City of Olive Branch announced the farmers market will open Saturday, June 6, on the front lawn of City Hall, and said there are 67 days until opening. The city directed prospective vendors to www.obms.us/farmersmarket for more information.

Several DeSoto County law enforcement agencies gathered for lunch and discussion at 1836 DeSoto, the Olive Branch Police Department said.

Olive Branch officials say Highway 302 has reopened after a motor vehicle crash that briefly closed eastbound lanes and diverted traffic onto Old Highway 178.

The Southaven Chamber of Commerce said members attended a B2B networking event hosted by Abes Construction Company to mark the opening of a new location at 9127 Corporate Dr.
