Aldermen to consider city budgets Tuesday night

Southaven aldermen are expected to pass a resolution fixing the ad valorem tax levy and establishing a city budget for Fiscal Year 2021 at their meeting Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. Aldermen are also to consider a resolution on Fiscal Year 2021 donations. 

Olive Branch aldermen are also to consider setting a tax millage rate for Fiscal Year 2021 during its meeting, set to start at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall, as well as passing its city budget for the next fiscal year.  Board members will also consider bids for a runway renovation project at the Olive Branch Airport. The bids were opened on July 27.  

Hernando aldermen will meet at City Hall, starting at 6 p.m. Tuesday evening. Items on the agenda will include a continuance of a public hearing on the proposed Fiscal Year 2021 budget and a vote to approve garbage bids.  

Subdivision development agreement approvals for Jefferson Estates Subdivision Section C and Winningham Estates Subdivision Section B are to be voted on. Aldermen will also consider the hiring of three new firefighters to the fire department.   

Horn Lake’s board agenda was not immediately available from its website as of late Monday afternoon.
