The City of Olive Branch warned of elevated fire danger from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. today.
Low humidity, winds and dry fuels mean grass fires can spread quickly. The city’s post advised avoiding open flames or sparks, keeping vehicles off dry grass and properly discarding cigarettes.
