Northwest football to hold open tryouts

This tryout is only for high school seniors who have not yet signed a National Letter of Intent.

He is the first Ranger to earn the conference’s weekly honor since Isaiah Gaines in January 2022.

Northwest’s staff earned its third consecutive MACCC Staff of the Year award, credited with nearly 60 wins over the past three seasons.

With the victory, Northwest (ranked fourth nationally) has likely secured a berth in the four-team NJCAA national playoffs.

The Rangers will have time to regroup, as their next two games have been rescheduled.

The Rangers are off until Nov. 10, when they host Arkansas State University–Newport.

The trio’s recognition comes after a milestone year for the NWMCC program.

Rangers set to open season with nine second-year players on roster.

Redman is tasked with rebuilding a program that finished 7-19 last season and won only one conference game.

The Rangers will host the Tigers again on Wednesday night in the opening round of the Region 23 tournament.
