New Year holiday travel period

Troopers will utilize high-visibility patrols and safety checkpoints to encourage safe driving techniques and the use of occupant restraint systems.

During the 2023 period, MHP investigated 169 crashes with three fatalities.

MHP will utilize a high visibility patrolling plan over the travel period to promote safe travel and reduce fatal crashes.
