This year, the Lady Rangers were determined to avoid another heartbreaking result to Johnson County

Nine Lady Rangers chosen for all-MACCC honors

Northwest will begin its NJCAA national tournament run on Sunday, November 17 against eighth-seed Scottsdale (Ariz.).

The winner of the NJCAA Region 23 Tournament will face the champion of the Alabama Community College Conference (Region 22) on Saturday, Nov. 9.

Northwest enters the final stretch of the regular season with three matches remaining on the schedule.

Latest rankings come out for Northwest teams.

The Lady Rangers’ next opponent will be Hinds, scheduled for Friday, Oct. 4 at 5 p.m.

Now 7-0 on the season and 2-0 in the MACCC, Northwest will gear up to face a pair of nationally-ranked opponents this week.

The Tupelo native was also named MACCC Goalkeeper of the Week on Tuesday.

Northwest opens regular season vs. Mineral Area on Saturday evening.

Northwest was the unanimous choice for the No. 1 spot, receiving nine first place votes and 140 points.
