Lynn Jones: Preparing the way for the Lord

Our patience, love, hope, and kindness can smooth the way for the Lord to come into the lives of people around us.

I believe that God is still looking for Christians who will be faithful in some supporting roles in life.

Sometimes people “balk” on the Lord.

We do not live under the Old Testament Law, and yet we live under the “law.”

We smile at those who make such excuses, but others might smile when they hear the excuses we make to the Lord.

The Christian life can be the most captivating way of life of all.

Grumbling about our lot in life is a favorite human pastime.

If genuine change is to take place in our lives, then we need to come clean with God about our sin.

What you need is the sensitivity and concern in order to be able to speak a loving word to those who hurt around you.
