Lynn Jones: How close to plow to the corn

Jesus said that we should be as wise as serpents and as harmless as doves. That implies the need for wisdom and tact in bearing witness to Him.

The best that we can do is to receive these gracious gifts and out of gratitude to respond with faithful service.

God is at work in the big business of altering our lives.

After coming to know Christ as Savior, unfortunately we often then skim along the surface with Him.

When you treat others with love and grace, they may be able to see the face of God in you!

When it comes to matters of faith, leftover religion is a serious matter.

Quitting our sin is a challenge to us since our very nature bends in that direction.

God knows all about our grief and pain, and He comes to help us just when we need Him most.

We talk about faith and commitment to God, yet often we drop out when courage and endurance are needed.

With those three simple words, “He is risen,” the history of our world was forever changed.
