Baptist-DeSoto to host free baby fair

The national Blue Cross Blue Shield Association has designated Baptist-DeSoto as a Blue Distinction Center of Excellence for Maternity Care.

New Year’s babies welcomed at area hospitals.

Donations were presented at the hospital on Tuesday morning.

U.S. News evaluated each hospital’s performance using a variety of measures.

No appointments are necessary, and attendees can arrive as early as 3:30 p.m. for the drive-thru line.

Hospital recognized for stroke and heart care.

Police said they found a number of inconsistencies in information they received in conversations and interviews.

The American College of Cardiology has awarded Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto Heart Failure Accreditation.

Baptist-DeSoto’s Nurse Excellence Award is an annual recognition that has been led by the hospital’s chief nursing officer for the past 10 years.
