On May 22, Alexis Connie Bray, age 18 of Amory pled guilty to the charges of Sexual Battery and Distribution of Child Pornography before Circuit Court Judge John White in Tupelo, according to a news release from First Circuit District Attorney Jason Herring.
Judge White sentenced Bray to a 20 year term in jail. She will not be eligible for early release or parole and must serve the 20 years day for day.
The plea was approved by law enforcement and the victim’s family.
Assistant District Attorney Josh Wise prosecuted the case on behalf of the State of Mississippi.
Reports are that Bray turned 18 last month while in jail.
