Third largest Powerball jackpot now up to $900 million

Mega Millions jackpot up to estimated $640 million, seventh largest in game history

The Powerball® jackpot has increased to an estimated $900 million with an estimated cash value of $465.1 for the drawing Monday, July 17. The jackpot rolled after no ticket matched all six numbers drawn Saturday night: 2-9-43-55-57 and Powerball of 18.

The Powerball jackpot was last hit in the April 19 drawing for a win of $252.6 million in Ohio. Monday’s drawing will be the 38th in the jackpot run. The longest Powerball jackpot run has been 41 drawings.

This jackpot run is the third time ever that both Powerball and Mega Millions have advertised jackpots above $500 million simultaneously. The first time this occurred was in October 2018 with Powerball at $687.8 million and Mega Millions at $1.537 billion. Then again in January 2021 with a Powerball jackpot of $731.1 million and Mega Millions of $1.05 billion.
