Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum to Host Annual Harvest Festival
• Festival runs Nov. 4–8, celebrating Mississippi’s rich farming heritage

JACKSON, Miss. — The Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum will honor the state’s deep agricultural roots during its 2025 Harvest Festival, set for Nov. 4–8 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day at 1150 Lakeland Drive in Jackson.
Visitors will step back in time as “Small Town, Mississippi” comes alive with live demonstrations that showcase what daily life looked like generations ago. The event highlights how farming has shaped Mississippi’s communities and culture through the years. Admission is $10 for ages 3 and up.
Guests can watch the operation of the oldest running cotton gin in America, along with demonstrations at the sawmill, cane mill (Saturday only), print shop, and blacksmith shop. Families can also enjoy wagon, train, and carousel rides for just $1 per person.
Throughout the week, the museum’s general store will be open with snacks and souvenirs, and concessions will be available daily.
