Mega Millions climbs to $547M jackpot; Mississippi Player wins Match 5 prize

JACKSON, Miss. (Oct. 7, 2025) – The Mega Millions jackpot is quickly rising, with tonight’s drawing featuring an estimated $547 million prize, carrying an estimated cash value of $251.7 million. This marks the 12th-largest jackpot in the game’s history, coming just weeks after a historic Powerball run.

The Mega Millions drawing will be held tonight, Tuesday, Oct. 7, at 10 p.m. CT. Tickets are $5 per play, with all non-jackpot prizes automatically multiplied up to five times. The winning numbers from the most recent Mega Millions drawing on Friday, Oct. 3, were 18-19-38-54-57 with a Mega Ball of 19.

Adding to the excitement, a Mississippi player holds an unclaimed $2 million Mega Millions ticket purchased at the Pilot Travel Center in Moss Point during the recent historic jackpot run.

One fortunate player claimed the Mississippi Match 5 jackpot. A ticket purchased at Brothers Pit Stop in Picayune matched all five numbers in Monday night’s drawing to win $122,815. The winning numbers were 3, 8, 10, 16 and 26.

The Mississippi Match 5 jackpot now resets to an estimated $50,000 for tonight’s drawing.

Players also have a chance to win in upcoming drawings:

  • Powerball: Wednesday’s jackpot is an estimated $223 million, with a $104.4 million cash value.
  • Lotto America: The jackpot is an estimated $4.32 million, with a $2.02 million cash value.

New October scratch-off games are available now at Mississippi Lottery retailers, offering top prizes up to $100,000. Games include:

  • $1 Lucky Numbers: Top prize of $5,000.
