Lottery to join multi-state “Millionaire for Life” draw game
JACKSON, Miss. – The Mississippi Lottery is joining nearly 30 other jurisdictions to debut a new multi-state draw game, Millionaire for Life™, with the first drawing set for Sunday, Feb. 22.
The game offers a top prize of $1 million per year for life and a second-tier prize of $100,000 per year for life. Both prizes feature a 20-year guaranteed payout or a one-time cash option. With drawings held daily at 10:15 p.m. CT, the game is designed for frequent wins, boasting overall prize odds of 1 in 8.46.

“Millionaire for Life gives players the chance to dream big every day,” Mississippi Lottery President Jeff Hewitt said. “Winning $1 million a year, year after year, would be life-changing.”
Tickets cost $5 per play and go on sale in Mississippi on Feb. 22. Additional prize levels and game details will be available Feb. 12 at mslottery.com and via the official lottery app. The grand prize odds are approximately 1 in 22.9 million, offering a more favorable outlook than many national draw games.
