SENATOBIA, Miss. — Northwest Mississippi Community College forward Alorian Story has been named MACCC Player of the Week after a dominant performance in the Rangers’ 52-49 victory over Dyersburg State Community College on Saturday, Nov. 29.
Story, a sophomore from Ripley, Mississippi, recorded 25 points and 14 rebounds, marking her sixth double-double of the season. She is averaging 14.2 points and 12.7 rebounds per game through the Rangers’ first 10 contests.
Her 25-point effort was just one shy of her season high, set in the opener against Bishop State on Nov. 1. Story currently leads the MACCC in rebounding, ranks eighth in scoring, and sits among the top 25 in both field goal and free throw percentage.
