Rangers’ Jensen earns second First-Team NJCAA All-America selection

SENATOBIA, Miss. – Northwest Mississippi Community College sophomore Emma Jensen has cemented her legacy in Rangers history, earning first-team NJCAA All-America honors for the second consecutive year following the program’s second national championship title.

The Gammelby, Germany, native is now only the second player in program history to be named a two-time NJCAA All-American. She joins former goalkeeper Anna Kathryn Harrell, who earned first-team distinctions in 2023 and 2024.

Jensen’s selection follows a dominant sophomore campaign that also saw her named to the All-Region 23 First Team and the All-NJCAA Tournament Team. She was also voted the NJCAA Tournament MVP, repeating a sweep of accolades she achieved during her freshman season in 2024.

Jensen’s offensive production was instrumental in Northwest’s success this season. She tallied 31 goals, 10 assists, and 72 total points. Her performance in clutch moments defined the season, notably in the NJCAA Division II National Championship match against Heartland Community College. Jensen scored both goals in the Rangers’ 2-1 victory, securing the title.

Over her two-year career in Senatobia, the Oklahoma State University signee rewrote the Northwest record books. Jensen finishes her junior college career as the program’s all-time leader in goals (53) and points (126). She also recorded 20 assists and 12 game-winning goals across 44 appearances, 41 of which were starts.

While Jennifer Enriquez previously earned United Soccer Coaches First Team honors in consecutive seasons (2021-22), Jensen and Harrell stand alone as the only Rangers to achieve back-to-back recognition on the NJCAA’s primary All-America list.
