Rangers’ Greer earns NJCAA/ABCA Gold Glove nod
June 21 – Northwest Mississippi Community College sophomore outfielder Cade Greer was named to the NJCAA Division II ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove Team, the two organizations announced on Monday afternoon.
This is the second Gold Glove honor in as many months for Greer, who was also named to the NJCAA Region 23 Gold Glove Team in May. The Olive Branch native, former Lewisburg High School standout, and University of Memphis commit, was one of only three Northwest outfielders to finish with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage, including fellow teammate Peyton Martin and Chad Wardlaw (2010-11).
