Olive Branch’s Oatis signs with Concord University

OLIVE BRANCH, Miss. — Olive Branch High School senior Madden Oatis, a versatile front‑seven defender for the Conquistadors, has announced his commitment to Concord University, where he will continue his football career in Athens, Virginia.

Oatis, a 6-foot-1, 235‑pound hybrid defensive lineman and linebacker, has been a consistent contributor for Olive Branch across the 2024 and 2025 seasons. He has lined up at defensive line, outside linebacker and middle linebacker, giving the Conquistadors flexibility in run defense and pursuit. 

Concord University competes in NCAA Division II as a member of the Mountain East Conference. The Mountain Lions are known for developing physical, high‑effort defensive players, a system that aligns with Oatis’s motor and positional versatility.
