Memphis Hustle Hype Crew auditions
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Memphis Hustle, the NBA G League affiliate of the Memphis Grizzlies, will hold open auditions for the Hustle Hype Crew on Sunday, Sept. 7, at Landers Center. Registration begins at 2 p.m., with auditions starting at 3 p.m.
The Hustle Hype Crew is a co-ed hip-hop dance team that performs at all Hustle home games and represents the team at promotional and community events in the Memphis and DeSoto County regions. The crew is responsible for interacting with and exciting Memphis Hustle fans throughout the season.
The team encourages all performers age 18 and older to attend. To help candidates prepare, the Hustle will host a free audition clinic on Wednesday, Sept. 3, at 6 p.m. at Landers Center. The clinic will allow attendees to learn the choreography in advance.
Registration is encouraged for both the clinic and the audition due to limited space, but a limited number of walk-ups will be accepted on the day of auditions. Interested candidates can register and find more information at memphis.gleague.nba.com/hypecrew.
