Sincere Carry and Davion Warren picked in 2023 NBA G League draft

The Memphis Hustle finalized its 2023-24 training camp roster, the team announced on Monday, Oct. 30. In addition, the team selected guards Sincere Carry and Davion Warren in the second round of the 2023 NBA G League Draft.

Carry (6-1, 185) was named 2022 Male Collegiate Athlete of the Year and All-MAC Tournament MVP after appearing in 35 games (all starts) and averaging a team-high 17.5 points and 4.9 assists for Kent State. A two-time All-MAC First Team and MAC All-Defensive selection while with the Golden Flashes, the 24-year-old Ohio native ranks fifth in program history for points for a single season (613) and set the school’s single-season record for minutes (1,284) in 2022-23.

Warren (6-6, 205) appeared in 31 games (one start) and averaged 6.1 points and 2.8 rebounds in 12.4 minutes for the College Park Skyhawks during the 2022-23 NBA G League Showcase Cup and regular season. Unselected in the 2022 NBA Draft, the 24-year-old New York native led Texas Tech in steals (53) as a senior with the Red Raiders.
