WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah — The Memphis Hustle (2-10) snapped an eight-game losing skid in dramatic fashion Wednesday night, edging the Salt Lake City Stars 117–116 in overtime at Maverik Center.

Hustle Take Control in the Paint

Memphis overwhelmed Salt Lake City inside, piling up 76 points in the paint and 26 second-chance points thanks to relentless work on the offensive glass. Abou Ousmane delivered one of his strongest outings of the year, finishing with 19 points and 10 rebounds, including several key putbacks that shifted momentum.

Hinton led the Hustle with 21 points, adding five rebounds, two steals and two assists. Jahmai Mashack added 14 points and seven assists, while DeJon Jarreau provided 14 points and five assists off the bench.

Stars Rally Late, Force Overtime

Salt Lake City (5-8) leaned heavily on Mo Bamba, who posted a massive 24-point, 15-rebound double-double. Max Abmas added 19 points, and Sean East II chipped in 14.

The Stars erased a 16-point second-half deficit, tying the game at 110 on John Tonje’s free throws with 19.7 seconds left. Mashack answered with a driving layup to force overtime.

Overtime Belongs to Memphis

Ousmane and Charlie Brown Jr. delivered the only field goals Memphis needed in the extra period. The Hustle defense held Salt Lake City to just 1-of-7 shooting in OT, sealing the one-point victory.
