Hustle open tryouts set for Sept. 20 at Memphis Sports & Events Center

Aug. 13, 2025 – The Memphis Hustle will host its seventh annual open player tryouts — presented by OrthoSouth — on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Memphis Sports & Events Center (995 Early Maxwell Blvd). Doors open at 9 a.m. for registered participants.

Player Evaluation & Eligibility

  • Tryout participants will be scouted by Memphis Hustle and Memphis Grizzlies Basketball Operations staff.
  • All applicants must meet NBA G League eligibility requirements and complete all required paperwork before taking the court.

Registration Details & Deadlines

  • Pre‑registration (before 5 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 18): $200 fee
  • Walk‑up registration: $250 (credit/debit only)
  • Pre‑registration limited to 80 participants — early sign‑up strongly encouraged.
  • All participants receive a free Memphis Hustle T‑shirt with registration.
  • All registration fees are non‑refundable.
  • Only participants are allowed inside the facility during tryouts — no family or guests.
