Harlem Globetrotters to Bring 100-Year Celebration Tour to Southaven in January
SOUTHAVEN, Miss. (Sept. 8, 2025) – The Harlem Globetrotters are celebrating a century of basketball thrills, laughs, and unforgettable memories, and Southaven will be part of the milestone tour. The world-famous team announced Monday that its 100 Year Tour will stop at the Landers Center on Sunday, Jan. 25, 2026.
The centennial season promises a once-in-a-century celebration featuring gravity-defying dunks, dazzling trick shots, and fan-favorite antics. Tickets go on sale to the general public Monday, Sept. 22, at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.com and the Landers Center box office.
This tour will also mark the debut of the Globetrotters’ new 100 Year jerseys, worn when they face their longtime rivals, the Washington Generals. Fans can expect new surprises, including the Golden Basketball by Spalding®, pre-game Magic Pass experiences, and a post-game “5th Quarter” autograph session that is free for all attendees.
The Globetrotters’ legacy spans generations. From breaking the NBA color barrier with Nat “Sweetwater” Clifton to showcasing legends like Wilt Chamberlain, Meadowlark Lemon, and Curly Neal, the team has served as both basketball pioneers and cultural icons. The organization was recognized by the U.S. State Department in 1951 as “Ambassadors of Goodwill,” a role it continues today with outreach in health, education, and community empowerment.
The current roster of men and women continues the tradition, holding more than 60 Guinness World Records, including 18 set in the past year alone.
Premium fan experiences will also be offered, such as:
- Magic Pass: Pre-game access with player meet-and-greets
- Celebrity Court Pass: Warmups on the court with the team
- VIP Bench Tickets: Sit alongside the Globetrotters or Generals during the game
- Golden Replica Game Ball by Spalding®: A limited-edition collectible available for preorder
