Southaven, Miss. – Northpoint Christian School celebrated four standout student-athletes this week as they signed to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level.
Graysa Enders – Golf, Northwest Mississippi Community College
Senior Graysa Enders quickly made her mark on the golf course, impressing coaches with her skill despite only picking up the sport two years ago. Her rapid rise and competitive spirit earned her a spot at Northwest Mississippi Community College, where she will continue her golf journey. Coach Jeff Brown noted her natural ability and determination.
Amalia Tamayo – Golf, Loyola University New Orleans
Alongside Enders, senior Amalia Tamayo has been a steady presence for the girls’ golf team. Her dedication and leadership helped elevate the program, and she will now take her talents to Loyola University New Orleans, competing at the next level while pursuing her academic goals. Brown praised her consistency and commitment to the sport.
Cooper Phillips – Golf, Northwest Mississippi Community College
On the boys’ side, Cooper Phillips stood out for his coachability and leadership. He played a vital role in guiding younger teammates, including eighth graders who competed in varsity tournaments. His steady play has led Phillips to continue his golf career at Northwest Mississippi Community College. Coach Brett Rivers highlighted his resilience and ability to set an example for underclassmen.
