Sullivan named new DCS board president
July 5, 2024- The DeSoto County School District Board of Education met Tuesday, July 2 in a brief meeting to open the new fiscal year.
Among the items on the agenda was the election of a new board president and Josh Sullivan was elected to hold the position for the next 12 months. Sullivan replaces Charles Barton, who has been the board president for the past 12 months.
Josh Sullivan is presently the Vice President-Administration for Arch Medical with facilities in Bartlett and Lexington, Tennessee, and Olive Branch.
Named as board secretary for the next 12 months is board member Michele Henley.
