Southaven park donated by Jim Saucier features pavilion, waterfall, city says
The City of Southaven said Jim Saucier Memorial Park, located next to City Hall, sits on land donated by longtime DeSoto County resident Jim Saucier.
The municipal government said the park includes a pavilion with picnic tables, a paved walking trail, a playground, exercise equipment and a lake.
The city said the park’s waterfall has served as the backdrop for family, wedding and prom photos over the years.
The municipal government described Jim Saucier Memorial Park as a beautiful landmark in Southaven, the city said in its post.
