Southaven Chamber of Commerce announces 2025 Christmas Parade, ‘Santa’s Workshop’ festival

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. – The Southaven Chamber of Commerce will kick off the 2025 holiday season with its annual Christmas Parade and “Santa’s Workshop Family Festival” on Saturday, Dec. 6.

The annual Southaven Christmas Parade, themed “Candy Cane Lane,” is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. The parade will feature festive floats, horse-drawn carriages, and performances from the Southaven High School, DeSoto Central High School, and Horn Lake High School marching bands.

The parade route will start at First Commercial Drive, travel north on Highway 51 to Main Street, and then head east on Main Street to Northwest Drive, concluding at Southaven City Hall.

Immediately following the parade, at approximately 11 a.m., the Santa’s Workshop Family Festival will begin at City Hall. The community event will include pictures with Santa, hot cocoa, food trucks, and local craft vendors. The festival, which runs until 1 p.m., will also feature fun activities for children.

Proceeds from the family festival will benefit the Hope Center.

The Southaven Chamber encourages supporting local businesses by attending. Registration for businesses and vendors to participate or sponsor both events is still open.
