Southaven officials announced the cancellation of the city’s annual Easter Egg Hunt due to the forecast of possible rain. The event was scheduled to be held outdoors but will not take place this year, according to the city’s municipal government.
Instead, the Easter Bunny will be available for photos inside the indoor soccer arena at the BankPlus Sports Center. The photos will be taken from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on April 4.
Children and families are encouraged to visit the center to have their pictures taken with the Easter Bunny and to pick up a scoop of Easter Eggs, the city says.
