Rikard new Olive Branch Chief Operating Officer
July 10, 2025 – During the July 1 Olive Branch Board of Aldermen meeting, Mayor Ken Adams announced the promotion of Michael Rikard to the role of Chief Operating Officer.
A graduate of Olive Branch High School and Northwest Junior College, Michael has been an integral part of our leadership team, bringing a wealth of institutional knowledge and commitment to public service. With 20 years of dedicated service to the City, his experience spans a wide range of operational and leadership roles.
Over the years, he has served as Water Department Technician, Building Inspector, Facility Maintenance Division Leader, Assistant Building Official, General Services Director & Building Official, and most recently as Streets & General Services Director.
Rikard takes over for Todd Ondra, who recently announced his retirement from the City.
