Olive Branch schedules ‘Breakfast with the Brave’ at Chick-fil-A

The City of Olive Branch announced a Breakfast with the Brave event at Chick-fil-A Olive Branch that organizers said will run from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The city posted the date as March 13, according to the City of Olive Branch’s government account.

Chick-fil-A Olive Branch posted a related notice asking people to bring children on Friday, March 11, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., creating two dates in the public notices, according to the restaurant’s post.

The city said families can meet local first responders, hear their stories and take photos. The announcement said children will have the chance to see and sit inside a police car and a fire truck, according to the City of Olive Branch post.

Ken Adams, Olive Branch mayor, wrote, “We are excited and can’t wait to see everyone,” in a city post. The Olive Branch Fire Department wrote that it was “grateful for the men and women who serve our community every day,” and encouraged residents to attend, according to the department’s message. The city listed the Olive Branch Fire Department, DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office and Olive Branch Police Department as participating agencies.
