Olive Branch Police Department Launches 33rd Citizens Police Academy

The Olive Branch Police Department started its 33rd Citizens Police Academy last night. The program, launched in 2005, aims to foster community engagement, officials said.

During the first session, participants met with the department’s command staff, toured the police station, and visited the Emergency Communications building to see operations firsthand. The department expressed enthusiasm for the new class and its goal of providing an inside look at police work.

Olive Branch Mayor Ken Adams welcomed the group, emphasizing the department’s commitment to community connection. The program continues to be a key part of the department’s outreach efforts, officials added.
