Olive Branch Mayor Ken Adams and the Olive Branch Police and Fire departments warned Monday that a Severe Thunderstorm Warning was in effect for all of DeSoto County until 8:30 p.m., according to postings from the officials.
The alert said the line of storms was capable of producing a tornado with little or no warning.
The DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office and DeSoto County Government were also listed in the notices.
Officials did not immediately provide additional details in the postings.
