Olive Branch Officials Urge Residents to Observe Blue & Green Day for Organ Donation
Olive Branch Mayor Ken Adams and the city’s Board of Aldermen invited residents to take part in Blue & Green Day Mid-South on Friday, April 10, 2026, to raise awareness of organ and tissue donation, a city news release said.
The release said more than 100,000 Americans are currently on the national organ transplant waiting list and that more than 4,000 people are on waiting lists across West Tennessee, East Arkansas and North Mississippi.
The proclamation for Blue & Green Day Mid-South was presented to Bobbi Betonti of the Mid-South Transplant Foundation by Mayor Adams, the release said.
Officials encouraged residents to register as organ and tissue donors by visiting midsouthtransplant.org, the release said.
