Northwest Mississippi Community College said in a post last week that it had the privilege of getting a taste of what it’s like to be a student of Lucia Nelson, who the college identified as the Mississippi Humanities Teacher of the Year.
The college said it was thankful for Nelson and for the work she does for Northwest Mississippi Community College.
The post did not provide additional details about the event or Nelson’s award, the college said.
Northwest Mississippi Community College attributed the comments to its own post and expressed appreciation for Nelson’s contributions to the campus community.
