The Northwest women’s basketball team has qualified for the NJCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Championships in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
The Lady Rangers secured their spot after a close game against Pearl River, marking their first appearance in the national tournament since the 2004-05 season, according to school officials.
The team is set to compete at the tournament, which will be held at McNeese State University. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets and support the team as they aim for a national title.
This achievement highlights the team’s progress and success this season, said the school’s athletic director.
