District Attorney Matthew Barton thanked Shelby County officials for their assistance and issued a firm warning to others.

“This is the last warning for anyone who tries to flee from law enforcement in DeSoto County,” Barton said. “From now on, felony fleeing means prison time.”

The Olive Branch Police Department conducted the investigation, and Assistant District Attorney Michael Steele prosecuted the case.
