 Lewisburg High School Athletics: Week of August 18–23

OLIVE BRANCH, Miss. – Lewisburg High School student-athletes have a full slate of events this week as several Patriot teams take to the fields, courts, and courses to kick off the fall season.

Monday, August 18

The week begins with the annual Meet the Patriots event, giving fans a chance to support student-athletes across multiple sports. In addition, the boys’ and girls’ varsity golf teams will compete at Olive Branch Country Club (OBCC).

Tuesday, August 19

Volleyball will travel to face St. George’s, continuing early non-conference play.

Wednesday, August 20

No athletic events are scheduled for midweek, giving teams a brief break before a busy weekend.

Thursday, August 21

The Lady Patriots volleyball team will host Collierville in an exciting home matchup that’s expected to draw strong community support.

Friday, August 22

Friday features two key events:

    •    Football will compete in a jamboree at Independence, marking one of the first looks at this year’s squad.

    •    Volleyball heads south to Alabama to participate in the Juanita Boddie Classic in Hoover, a premier early-season tournament.

Saturday, August 23

Saturday will be action-packed with multiple Patriot teams in competition:

    •    Volleyball continues at the Juanita Boddie Classic in Hoover, AL.

    •    JV Volleyball takes part in the Delta Fest Tournament at Lake Cormorant.

    •    Swim competes at the Oxford Invitational.

    •    Cross Country opens its season at the New Albany Classic.

A Busy Start for the Patriots

With nearly every sport in action, Lewisburg fans will have plenty of opportunities to cheer on the Patriots this week. From the golf course to the volleyball court and the football field, the start of the fall season promises competitive matchups and exciting moments.
