We like to mention New Year’s babies, the first newborn of the new year, each January.
But Methodist Olive Branch Hospital had an occurrence on Thursday that happens once every four years: A Leap Year baby.
Among nine Leap Year babies born in the Methodist Le Bonheur system Thursday was little Lynlee Carr, born just after midnight Thursday at 12:27 a.m. Lynlee and her mother Amanda of Hernando are expected to head home from the hospital soon. Congratulations and welcome Leap Year baby Lynlee!
