Horn Lake warns applicants they will work nights, face paperwork

The city of Horn Lake says a position advertised on its website will require night work, involve paperwork and include dealing with people who dispute information, according to the job posting.

“Yes, you’ll work nights. Yes, paperwork is real. Yes, people will argue with you about things Google told them,” the posting says.

The posting also touts benefits beyond the drawbacks. “You’ll protect families, solve problems, and be part of something bigger than yourself,” it says. “Worth it? We think so. Join us.”
