The roadway on Highway 302 near Legacy Boulevard has reopened after the Olive Branch Police Department’s Accident Reconstruction Team cleared the scene, the department said.
The department had earlier asked motorists traveling eastbound and westbound to slow down and use extra caution while investigators conducted the probe, the department said.
Mayor Ken Adams and the Olive Branch Police Department thanked motorists for slowing and watching for officers and for helping keep everyone safe, the department said.
The police department urged drivers to continue reducing speed and to remain alert when approaching the area for their safety and the safety of officers, the department said.
