JACKSON, Miss. – A Hernando player has secured a $1,000 prize in the latest Millionaire Maker bonus drawing, headlining a week of wins that saw a Biloxi resident take home $15,000 and an Aberdeen winner claim $5,000.

The Mississippi Lottery Corporation confirmed the Hernando win as part of a surge in payouts across the state. Other significant prizes from the Millionaire Maker and The Three Stooges® Fun-O-Rama promotions were awarded to players in Starkville, Woodland, and Tupelo, with individual wins reaching as high as $10,000.

The string of luck precedes the Sunday, Feb. 22, launch of Millionaire for Life, a new national draw game offering daily chances at a life-changing annuity.

Daily Drawings for Life-Changing Prizes

Starting Sunday, tickets for Millionaire for Life will be available for $5 per play. The game features a premier prize of $1 million a year for life and a second-tier prize of $100,000 a year for life. Winners of the top two tiers may choose between the annuity for their natural life or a one-time cash option.

“Millionaire for Life gives players the chance to dream big every day,” said Mississippi Lottery President Jeff Hewitt. “Winning $1 million a year, year after year, would be life-changing, and this game has the potential to make that a reality.”

Game Odds and Availability

The first drawing is scheduled for 10:15 p.m. CT on Feb. 22. The game is designed to be more winnable than many other national draw games, featuring:

  • Overall Prize Odds: 1 in 8.46
  • Grand Prize Odds: 1 in 22.9 million
  • Participation: Available at Mississippi retailers and 31 other jurisdictions.

Second Chance Opportunities

While the Hernando winner and others celebrate their recent success, officials encourage players to retain non-winning scratch-off tickets. Non-winning The Three Stooges and Millionaire Maker tickets can be entered into the 2nd Chance portal at mslottery.com for upcoming drawings in March.
