Domestic disturbance gets physical in store parking lot

Olive Branch police are asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect or suspects in the beating of a victim in a grocery store parking lot.

Officers were called shortly before 11 a.m. Saturday morning to Piggly Wiggly, located at 6359 state Highway 305 North. The report said there was a physical disturbance in the parking lot but the suspects involved had left the scene before the officers arrived. Police said the disturbance appears to have been domestic in nature.

The scene was secured and a victim was later found with no reported injuries, police said. Police added that the store is now safe and is conducting business as usual.

This is still an ongoing investigation. If you have any information that could assist this case, you are asked to contact the Olive Branch Police Department at 662-892-9400.
