SOUTHAVEN, Miss. – Stacy Dodd, a Southaven-based interventionist, has officially earned the credential of Certified Intervention Professional (CIP), a nationally recognized certification issued by the Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB). The designation represents the highest professional standard in the intervention field, with the PCB serving as the only credentialing board of its kind in the United States.
In addition to receiving the certification in August, Dodd has launched Stacy Dodd Interventions, LLC, a new business dedicated to helping families, friends, and organizations guide individuals struggling with substance use disorders, process disorders, and mental health challenges toward treatment. The Southaven Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new business soon.
“This credential is a major achievement in my field and one that ensures families and clients can trust the process with a trained, ethical, and nationally recognized professional,” Dodd said.
As a CIP, Dodd is also a member of the Association of Intervention Specialists (AIS), a global network of interventionists who adhere to strict ethical standards and provide guidance across a wide range of communities. AIS members are recognized internationally and are trained to assist diverse demographics, from families to business executives, in encouraging individuals with addictions or compulsive behaviors to accept professional help.
Certified Intervention Professionals undergo rigorous training and evaluation to meet and exceed educational and performance standards. Their work includes engaging directly with individuals and families, providing structured guidance to ensure safe, ethical, and effective interventions.
